Tortoise Stones
What are Tortoise Stones? I started painting rocks a couple of years ago, and found the textured surface a fun canvas. Since then, I've been slowly adding to my collection. My family assumes (correctly) that I'm a crazy rock magpie, because while finding good rocks to paint I can't help but pick up additional beauties I have no intention of painting!
These aren't by far all of the stones I've painted, but the ones that I've been most pleased with the results. Some of the following have been sold in the past, which I will specify on their card.
Largemouth Bass
I was an avid fisher girl when I was younger, and these guys were one of our most common catches! (Sold)
Northern Pike
I imagined myself having a lively animosity with this fish when I was younger after almost landing one, and I daresay the prowess of the pike has lingered in my mind ever since.
Sky Stone - Night side
This stone was experimental, playing with contrasting vibrant colours and guided mainly the stone's natural shape. (Sold)
Sky Stone - Day side
I intended for this stone to have two different sides, so that it could be turned over freely; my more rounded stones have an obvious side they sit and stay on, but for this one that was not the case. (sold)
Snowdrops
I've heard that this flower blooms in the winter-- fact or fiction?? (unavailable)
Seahorse Stone
A birthday gift for my Mom, who loves seahorses (: (unavailable)
Turtle Shell
One of my oldest and favourite patterns. Like its' name, I was inspired by the patterns found on turtle shells, but also by the appearance of stained glass windows. (Unavailable)
Coccinelle
Inspired by ladybugs! A simple yet recognizable design, one I would suggest for anyone unsure where to start with rock painting.
Sunrise Reflections (front)
Have I talked about how much I love rainbows and colour? Because I love rainbows and colour :) Very pleased with this one!

I'm a little sad that this one has an obvious front and back, the back is just as gorgeous in my opinion
