My most popular subjects are generally animals, people, and odd critters of all kinds: anyone who can make a facial expression and have a story to be told!

Similarly to my subjects, most of my settings will be wild as opposed to civilized. They are often combined in my art as well, as suits my style.

As a storyteller I'm naturally inclined to make art that conveys emotion or tells stories. I make images that make you want to ask, "what's happening?"

Artist Statement
Since starting, I’ve never stopped drawing.
I am always looking at the world around me in amazement and I believe that is what inspires me to create.
My main inspirations and subjects are animals and nature, emotions, works of fiction and non-fiction, the elements, personal experiences, and people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know.
I try to capture expressions and movement in my art, as those are the things that capture me-- my attention and imagination.
I enjoy working both in black and white and with colour, though sometimes I can find it difficult to choose, and will end up with multiple versions of a project.
I create a lot of paper sketches and illustrations, generally using pencil or pen.
I also paint, both on canvas and on less standard surfaces, such as rock, wood, ceramics and skin. I’ve dabbled in digital art and photography as well.
Over all else, I wish to tell stories with my creations, to genuinely touch others with my authenticity and intrigue.
